Camp Is-Sho-Da is seeking a safety-focused and enthusiastic Ropes & Archery Specialist to lead engaging instruction on our ropes course and archery range. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys coaching, encouraging personal growth, and creating safe, empowering experiences for youth. 

You’ll help campers challenge themselves, build resilience, and celebrate accomplishments, all while maintaining high safety standards and positive group energy. 

Camp Is-Sho-Da operates primarily as a day camp, with an overnight experience every Wednesday, providing variety while maintaining a predictable schedule.

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Leading ropes course and archery instruction 

  • Enforcing safety procedures and equipment checks 

  • Teaching proper technique and range rules 

  • Supervising campers and maintaining engagement 

  • Managing equipment setup, storage, and care 

  • Supporting special events and weekly overnights 

Employment Dates  

June 28 – August 14, 2026  

Compensation & Perks  

  • Earn $85-$95 per day (depending on experience).  

  • Work in the beautiful park-like setting of Camp Is-Sho-Da.

What You Bring:  

  • At least 18 years old or high school graduate by June 28, 2026 

  • Ability to interact positively with youth ages 7 to 17; prior youth-focused work or volunteer experience preferred.  

  • Ability to build and maintain positive professional work relationships.   

  • Must have proper certifications for ropes & archery instruction
