GSNENY is seeking a Membership Operations Specialist to ensure smooth, accurate membership processes and provide exceptional customer service throughout the membership journey. The hourly rate range for this position is $20-$22 per hour, depending on experience.
What You’ll Do
- Coordinate and confirm community membership events; support field recruitment and post-event follow-up.
- Enter, track, and follow up on leads in Salesforce to guide families into Girl Scouts.
- Maintain accurate membership records and assist with routine membership reporting.
- Support onboarding for new members and volunteers, including communications and required documentation.
- Respond to membership inquiries with prompt, helpful customer service.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure a seamless and consistent member experience.

- Strong customer service mindset with clear written and verbal communication skills.
- High attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and information management.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities during high-volume periods.
- Problem-solving skills to investigate issues and recommend solutions.
- Ability to work collaboratively across teams and maintain discretion with sensitive information.
Required Experience & Skills
- Advanced proficiency with Salesforce or similar CRM/database.
- Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel and other Office tools, including formulas and pivot tables.
- Experience in administrative operations, customer service, or support roles.
- Experience supporting onboarding workflows or service processes.
- Commitment to data integrity and accuracy.
- Flexibility to support occasional evening/weekend events during peak membership seasons.
