Girl Scouts of Northeastern New York is seeking a skilled Marketing Manager for Community Engagement & Membership to bring our mission to life through high-impact marketing initiatives. This role is ideal for someone who thrives on translating strategy into action—creating campaigns, producing compelling assets, and supporting membership growth across our council.

You will play a key role in recruiting new girls and volunteers, strengthening member retention, and elevating our visibility in the communities we serve. If you are a highly organized marketer who loves coordinating campaigns that make a measurable difference, we’d love to meet you.

Hourly Rate Range: $21 to $23 per hour, depending on experience.

What You’ll Do

  • Develop and manage detailed marketing and campaign workplans supporting recruitment, retention, and community engagement.
  • Track performance of marketing initiatives; analyze results and recommend optimizations.
  • Develop audience-informed messaging and value propositions for caregivers, girls, volunteers, and community partners.
  • Produce and update digital and print marketing assets aligned to brand standards, including email content, collateral, landing page copy, and social content.
  • Collaborate closely with Membership and Community Engagement teams to ensure accurate information, clear calls‑to‑action, and seamless lead handoffs.
  • Support council visibility efforts by preparing event materials and toolkits for community and school events.
  • Maintain organized asset libraries, campaign documentation, and version control for efficient execution.
  • Download, customize, and deploy GSUSA toolkits.
  • Own the theming and continuity of recruitment language, campaigns, and seasonal messaging.
  • Identify event opportunities that best support membership goals and prepare materials for those efforts.

What You Bring

  • Demonstrated experience executing multi-channel marketing campaigns.
  • Strong skills in producing content and marketing assets that follow brand and communication guidelines.
  • Experience using analytics or campaign performance metrics to evaluate results and recommend improvements.
  • Background supporting customer or member acquisition and retention, ideally within a mission-driven or community-focused organization.
  • Excellent project management, communication, and collaboration skills.
  • Strong attention to detail, version control, and quality assurance.
